This workshop will be streamed live on YouTube at 3:00pm (UK time) on 26th February.
If you’re unable to attend live, the full recording will be made available to all registered participants shortly after the workshop, so you can watch or rewatch at your convenience.
In this workshop, you’ll explore how to build a connected computational workflow from urban masterplanning through to BIM-ready floor plans.
You’ll learn how to create a parametric masterplanning system in Grasshopper that automates roads, blocks, massing, and planning data, allowing rapid iteration and live control over density and area metrics. The session then moves into Finch, where you’ll see how massing geometry can be translated into AI-assisted floor plans, generating unit mixes and adaptive layouts before exporting into Revit for BIM coordination.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll understand how to connect Rhino, Grasshopper, Finch, and Revit into a seamless ecosystem that accelerates early-stage design while maintaining data control and production readiness.
We recommend attending live if possible, as there will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end of the session.
