Dimensional Leap: AI Image to 3D is a two-day intensive workshop for architects and designers who want to harness the latest AI tools to transform conceptual images into usable 3D geometry. Through hands-on training with tools like ComfyUI, Flux models, Kling AI, Hunyuan 3D, and Rhino, participants will learn how to generate, control, and refine AI imagery—then convert it into 3D assets for use in architectural design. The workshop also explores how large language models (LLMs) like Gemini and ChatGPT can supercharge ideation and iteration across the design process.

Ismail Seleit
AI | Architect | Educator
Ismail Seleit is an Associate at Foster + Partners, where he focuses on integrating computational design, BIM, and AI-driven visualization into architectural workflows. He holds degrees from Cairo University and Politecnico di Milano, combining a strong academic background with practical innovation.
Ismail has led interdisciplinary teams on complex cultural, mixed-use, and high-tech projects—guiding them from concept through to construction. His work blends human-centred design with algorithmic tools, and he is particularly skilled in using AI techniques such as LoRA and ControlNet to enhance design communication and storytelling.
Alongside his professional work, Ismail teaches the widely respected “Diffusion Architect” studio series and is known internationally for his contributions to the field of computational architecture. Through workshops, talks, and publications, he advocates for the creative use of AI in design and helps make advanced digital tools more accessible to architects around the world.

Core Tools: ComfyUI, Flux Models, Gemini & ChatGPT (LLMs for ideation, prompting, multimodal interaction), Kling AI (Image-to-Video), Hunyuan 3D (Image-to-3D), Rhino (for 3D post-processing)
Audience Level: Intermediate
REQUIREMENTS
A working installation of ComfyUI with Flux models loaded and operational.
Familiarity with basic ComfyUI node connections.
Access to Rhino for the 3D post-processing session (Day 2).
(Optional, for live follow-along with specific external tools/APIs): Relevant accounts/credits for Kling AI, Hunyuan 3D, or any cloud-based ComfyUI API services if utilized.
