Join us on a bike tour around Copenhagen as we visit some of the city’s most iconic and fascinating projects, many of which were highlighted in the offices we visited during our trip. Starting in Nordhavn and cycling across the entire city, we stop to explore projects designed by renowned architects such as BIG, COBE, Kengo Kuma, 3XN, and Henning Larsen, among others!

EP 10 | ArchiTech Office Tours | BIG HQ

In our milestone 10th episode we return to where it all started (BIG) and tour Bjarke Ingels Group's new headquarters in Copenhagen. We join Jens Kaarsholm for one of the first public tours of the office and walk up all 6 floors of the new headquarters as well as talk about Design Technology, BIM, AI and game engines.

EP 9 | ArchiTech Office Tours | COBOD

In this episode we continue our tour the 3D printing pionerrs COBOD at their headquarters in Copenhagen. COBOD (Construction of Buildings on Demand) founded in 2017, is a leader in developing large-scale 3D construction printers designed to create concrete structures. Their mission is to revolutionize the construction industry by leveraging automation and digital manufacturing to reduce costs, time, and material waste while increasing design flexibility and sustainability. We tour their headquarer campus with Sofia, Alma and Andrei showing us the 3D printers as well as touring a local project in Copenhagen.

In this episode we continue our tour of Copenhagen to tour another pioneering Danish Architecture firm COBE, we tour the office with the one and only Eliana Nigro who is head of computational design in the office. We tour their incredible space and sit down with Eliana to discuss computational design in the office, how it is used, how computational design works with other disciplines and looking towards teh future of AI.

In this episode we take the tour abroad for the first time to Copenhagen to tour the innovative 3XN/GXN office with Head of Digital Practice Kenn Clausen along with Sam Sweeney. We tour the amazing office they have and discuss how Kenn and the team are utilizing BIM, Computational, Digital Fabrication and of course AI.

In this episode we tour the innovative start-up AI Build who are developing AI driven software for an array of 3D printing applications, including projects in the aerospace, automotive and AEC space. AI Build was founded in 2015 by Daghan and Michail, former architects at Zaha Hadid, who have a background in computational geometry and a passion for additive manufacturing.

In this episode we tour the one and only Foster + Partners office in London with their Applied Research + Development (ARD) Team. Marios Tsiliakos tours us around the Foster + Partners campus before we sit down with the ARD team including Martha Tsigkari, Adam Davis and Khaled ElAshry to talk about the various tools and technologies the team are working on within the office.

In this episode we tour Mamou Mani Architects and Fab Pub with Mathias. We tour the two sister companies founded by Arthur Mamou-Mani and talk with him about the tools and technology they use. Mamau-Mani has many digital fabrication projects at the heart of the firm, a focus on 3D printing, this resulted in them branching out their own fabrication lab and opening it up to the public...now known as Fab Pub!
